As you enter the Kaffee Haus shop, you will see our one-of-a-kind chalkboard menus labeled with a variety of salads, roll-ups, and hot or cold sandwiches.  You’ll be able to choose from a large variety of gourmet coffees, lattes, espresso and cappuccino drinks. Wanting something cold?  Maybe you would prefer the local favorite, our frozen hot chocolate, or one of the 16 flavors of hand dipped ice creams. There are snacks and pastries along with coffee & espresso themed treats, too.

Get online.  There are 11 tables near accessible outlets for your use and wireless internet access throughout our facility.  We are laptop friendly.

The Chicago Skyline

When you first walk into the Kaffee Haus, you will immediately see the 100 foot mural of a turn of the century Chicago skyline. And if you look over your head, you will see the elevated train running on our 148 foot track that meanders through the front of the store.  If it is not running, just ask the staff.  It’s a fun experience.

Frankenmuth Kaffee Haus is the oldest and original Frankenmuth coffee house and is owned by three generations of German Americans ranging in age from 17 to 87 years old. The atmosphere is family oriented.
